Martin Anderson
Solicitor - Associate - Solicitor
SRA ID: 358123
As a solicitor in Boyes Turner’s successful personal injury and asbestos disease teams, Martin has dedicated his career to achieving justice and compensation for individuals and bereaved families affected by asbestos-related disease, and for clients who have been injured in accidents on the roads, at work and elsewhere as a result of negligence. Martin represents clients with asbestosis and pleural thickening and also assists clients with applications for payments through the Diffuse Mesothelioma Payment Scheme and the Turner & Newall Asbestos Trust. He also assists other solicitors in the team with their high value mesothelioma and lung cancer cases. Many of Martin’s clients have benign asbestos diseases and are at a risk of contracting a malignancy at a later date. He regularly achieves provisional settlements for clients in this position, in order to protect their position and ensure that they can return to claim further damages at a later date in the event that they are diagnosed with a malignant condition. He has succeeded in cases where he has only been instructed after the victim has passed away, by tracing witnesses who have previously worked with the deceased and can corroborate the nature of their exposure to asbestos. He supports asbestos disease sufferers by assisting with the Berkshire Asbestos Support Group and regularly assists members with their benefits applications. Martin contributes a broad range of expertise to the personal injury team, supporting clients who have suffered injuries in road traffic accidents, in the workplace and elsewhere as a result of negligence. He supports clients throughout the whole process, from the initial meeting through to settlement or trial. Wherever possible, he will secure interim payments in order that appropriate rehabilitation can be put in place before the claim has concluded. Martin is a keen charity fundraiser, literally running any lengths to raise money for the charitable causes that he supports, which include Mesothelioma UK and Headway. He has run the Reading Half Marathon six times to date. Martin is a member of the Law Society and the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers. He is also an active participant in regional meetings of the Motor Accident Solicitors Society.

Professional and understanding
I’ve been very lucky to have Martin & Roshni collaborate to help me when I needed a solicitor to takeover from a very horrible accident. They both are very caring, professional and succeeded getting the best outcome in my case. This is the second time in using this solicitor’s firm and always the same high standard service.
