I am a Trainee Solicitor in the Private/Business Immigration department at Duncan Lewis Solicitors. I joined the team in June 2021, and I am based in the City of London office. My work is supervised by my Director, Tamana Aziz. I have over 5 years of immigration experience as a paralegal in assisting with a wide variety of immigration law cases including: Skilled Worker applications, Sponsor Licence applications, Representative of an Overseas Business applications, Global Talent applications, Spouse/Partner/Fiancé applications, Family Reunion applications, Nationality and Citizenship applications, Settlement applications and EEA applications. The cases included advising high profile and high net worth individuals, as well as vulnerable individuals. I will be assisting Tamana and the team, and gaining experience on complex immigration applications outside the rules, appeals, deportation, country guidance cases, Human Rights applications, as well as all of the above mentioned applications. I am fluent in Mauritian Creole and conversational in Hindi and Urdu, which allows me to assist individuals who can speak these languages, and who cannot converse fluently in English.
