Excellent professional approach
Working with Nasreen was a good experience as she was very calm and controlled in her approach. It was a somewhat challenging transaction as some deadlines were missed due to elements outside of our control, but Leadenhall's expediting of the process meant we got to a positive outcome.

Very professional and high quality conveyancer. Made buying my first home go well. Delays outside of our control caused issues but Nasreen helped to ensure everything was sorted within a reasonable time frame.

Up and down service
Overall the communication and experience I had with my solicitor was very good and I would be happy to use her services again but unfortunately I had a couple of bad experiences, which is why I have given the three stars. They are:
1. Holidays. I accept holidays by the solicitor occur but when they take place during crucial moments of the sale process it would have been good to have been informed directly, rather than having to notice (or not) the planned ooo at the bottom of an email signature after you realise they’ve gone on leave. Additionally I was informed there was an unclear handover from my solicitor to the solicitor who picked up my case (and did her best) and as a result my completion date was delayed by a week which cost me an additional £250
2. Unprofessionalism. Early on in the process I was sent an email by mistake (not from my current solicitor) which I obviously shouldn’t have seen or been sent, as it joked from one colleague to another about my first potential buyer falling through. I received an apology but it made me wonder of the mindset and level of professionalism.
3. I was informed at the beginning I would be told upfront if I was to incur any additional charges, which wasn’t the case. For example I was asked to pay approx £36 for an indemnity but wasn’t informed of the £300 I was then charged by the solicitor to process it. I only noticed this after the money had been taken for payment and I had to ask for a breakdown of the solicitors charges.
