Vanessa is a Solicitor in the Dispute Resolution team. She specialises in commercial litigation, advising on a variety of commercial, property and construction disputes and pursuing and defending claims of variable values and complexity. Vanessa is particularly interested in intellectual property (IP) disputes. Vanessa also supports senior lawyers in the group on a variety of disputes and litigation of higher value and complexity. Vanessa qualified as a Solicitor in April 2024, having gained Qualifying Work Experience in a range of areas such as commercial law, property practice, private client work and IP. Vanessa has a First-Class undergraduate degree in Modelmaking, which led to her interest in IP and gives her a deeper understanding of the issues faced by creators and designers. She also has a Distinction Graduate Diploma in Law and a Distinction Master’s in Legal Practice. Outside of work, Vanessa enjoys spending her time oil painting, gardening and doing aerial silks.
