Apartment Sale
The whole experience was stress free. We did not involve an estate agent, so we had to rely on our solicitors.

Hassle free
Butcher and Barlow were recommended by my estate agent. They worked extremely well together so that I felt informed and in good hands. It was always easy to get hold of someone friendly to speak to and everything felt very efficient.

Probate House Sale

Amazing! Would highly recommend and will using again!
As first-time buyers, my partner and I were understandably nervous about the process of buying our first home, but working with Matthew and his assistant, Ella, has made all the difference. Our broker recommended Matthew to us, and I’m so, so glad we followed that advice!
From start to finish, Matthew and Ella were incredible. They kept us fully updated throughout every step, guiding us patiently through the whole process and taking the time to answer all our questions, no matter how small. Incredibly, we completed within 10 weeks of putting in our offer—something I never thought would happen so smoothly. It’s clear that Matthew and Ella work tirelessly for their clients, and despite their busy schedules, we always felt we had their full attention.
I honestly cannot thank them both enough for their hard work, efficiency, and kindness. I’ll absolutely be using them for any future needs and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a solicitor. Thank you both for making our first home purchase such a positive experience!

Excellent service from Ella and Caroline at Butcher & Barlow, Bramhall
How refreshing to deal with Solicitors who are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, patient and very approachable. Caroline & Ella supported us through our house purchase and sale, with great professionalism and expertise. They always responded to our emails & phone calls promptly and kept us updated the whole way through. We met them both at the office to sign documentation and they were very thorough, explained everything in detail and ensured we had all the information needed before signing. We would like to thank them both for guiding us through a complicated process and for their patience in dealing with us and the endless questions, relating to the sale/purchase of our houses!

Excellent Services
We have received excellent services from Butcher & Barlow for the sale of our apartment. Everything went very smoothly and felt supported and helped all the way through in particularly dealing with those forms and enquiries. Paralegal Ella Woodier was exceptional. I can't praise her highly enough. She was patient, knowledgeable and always answered any queries promptly either on the phone or email. It was such a reassurance to have people you can reach out to when you are going through the stressful process of selling a property. We are just pleased that we are using them for the sale of our 2nd property, too. Highly recommend them!! If we could give 10 stars if we would.
