From start to finish Forbes have been amazing. I have never dealt with a probate before and I was very nervous and extremely emotional when this process started and first talked to Rebecca B about it all. She has been outstanding and so supportive throughout it all and I can't thank her enough for just being there whenever I needed her. Thank you so much Rebecca. Equally Melanie has been superb with the whole process and always got back to me with all the questions I had, of which there were many. I was always reassured by her and wish her well-thank you so much Melanie. MY NEW GO TO SOLICITORS

Hayley is brilliant!
We had previous experience of using Forbes (in 2003) and were very happy then, and we were very happyagain with all that Hayley did for us on this occasion, too. Especially noteworthy was her retrieval of documants relating to the setiing up of the leasehold for the area on which our house was located: information we had not seen before, and historically iinofrmative since one of us has Clitheroe links since childhood.

Sale of Property
I think Forbes handled the transaction in a friendly and professional manner and were very clear throughout the process. I don’t know if you agree and if so would you wish to respond on our behalf?
From the first day I contacted Forbes Solicitors I was dealt with in a most courteous manner, friendly but professional. They clearly explained the sales process and various requirements, then
provided us with a quotation for completing the transaction. They were very approachable and answered any queries or questions arising and put us at ease. Throughout, their staff kept us informed of progress and provided dates of completion - I would be happy to recommend Forbes Solicitors.

After 4 previous agencies, we chose Forbes who delivered the win
Went through a messy probate due to one narcissist sibling that continued bickering and making things tough for his two other siblings. Forbes took the cash when we eventually agreed between us to use them to sell our late parent's property. After trying 4 previous solicitor firms that did everything they could to make money from our sibling rivalry, These two solicitors Kiran and Hayley were a breath of fresh air. They were assertive and firm with the troublesome party and they walked us through the conveyancing process confidently, professionally and efficiently. They always contacted us separately to provide updates and they continued to be really helpful each time we got in touch with them about other issues that weren't directly about the sale. Most people wait 2-3 months to sell a property. It's been 23 months since our parents passed away and these two solicitors did not let us down. They worked tirelessly during months 21 to 23 and delivered a win for us.

Sale of property

Excellent efficient service
Great service and very efficient and even though my first sale fell through this wasn't a problem. Very pleasant solicitor, Hayley, was very helpful and kept me updated promptly. Perhaps the only downside was I'm based in Preston and the office dealing with property sales is in Blackburn, however I was able to drop documents off at the Preston branch and conduct most of the sale via email or phone.
