For several years Rachael volunteered with her father to help feed the homeless in Birkenhead on the Wirral. Sadly this was closed in 2018 due to funding but she continues to help homeless charities in any way that she can. During her maternity leave Rachael volunteered as a leader for social walks which helped new parents meet each other so they could talk and interact. The walks’ primary goal was to create a support network and address mental health pressures most new parents could feel, this was especially important during the pandemic.
