Amy Lundie

Solicitor - Solicitor

SRA ID: 824704

Amy is a solicitor in our personal injury and industrial disease team, with five years’ experience as a paralegal prior to qualifying as a solicitor in September 2023. In that time, Amy has worked across medical negligence, personal injury and industrial disease, gaining a broad experience of the legal strategies used on both claimant and defendant sides to fight and settle cases ranging from £10k slips and falls to complex brain injury cases worth over £10m. At Boyes Turner, Amy represents clients with asbestosis, mesothelioma and pleural thickening, as well as handling a personal injury caseload, focusing primarily on the newly introduced ‘intermediate track’ as well as supporting senior solicitors on the most complex cases. In all Amy does, she is energised by the prospect of making a real difference to the lives of injured people and their families, seeking the best possible settlement to help them rebuild and move forwards. Amy graduated from the University of Southampton with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) with my dissertation exploring liability in cases of asbestos exposure. Following that, Amy earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) at the University of Law, Guildford, prior to embarking on her training contract and qualifying as a solicitor in September 2023. Amy also has a degree in biomedical science, and her medical knowledge has been invaluable in understanding the facts of cases and quickly evaluating their winning potential. Amy is passionate about helping people in need of emotional support. Outside of work, she volunteers as an Adult and Child Listener at her local Samaritans branch and is also a qualified mental health first-aider. She works closely with HASAG, supporting those suffering with asbestos-related disease at their charitable events. Amy is a live music lover and can often be found at local festivals during the summer. At home, she spends her time attempting DIY, reading many books and tending to her collection of carnivorous plants.
