As part of our Corporate and Employment team, Chris advises owner managed businesses on a variety of areas including buying and selling businesses; corporate structures; shareholders’ agreements; commercial terms and conditions; employment law; and HR related matters. Chris is one of the firm’s corporate specialists and has worked on large corporate deals including the sale of a group of companies for £10m to a large international corporation and the purchase and refinance of a large local contractor. Chris provides advisory services to clients across various industries including: • professional services; • leisure and tourism; • hospitality; • care services; and • marketing solutions. Chris’ career started in 2015, working for a local law firm, before moving to Bridge McFarland in 2019. Chris has been a part of the local area throughout his career and education, achieving a Distinction in the LPC at the University of Law in Leeds, having previously graduated from the University of Hull. In his spare time, Chris has been described as a foodie and has a passion for cooking. Outside of work, he can also be found playing 5-a-side football and enjoys the occasional round of golf.
