Paul's knowledge and professional guidance was absolutely invaluable
We have used Slater Heelis in the past as did our parents and always found them to be very professional and reliable.
We used Paul Baker to deal with our mother’s estate after she passed. It was of great comfort to us to have Paul handle this. IHT is extremely complicated, so many forms to complete not for the faint hearted, there was really no way we could even have attempted it. Throughout the last few months which have been very difficult and emotional time for the family, Paul has been so considerate, understanding and extremely supportive throughout the process, professionalism along the whole journey. Grant of probate application.
Paul was extremely professional, informative and helpful from Day 1.
Communication is the key, and he kept me and my niece up to date, every step of the way.
Probate was granted in a timely manner.

Could rate Paul higher enough!
Paul was amazing throughout the LPA and probate application procession. Extremely professional, amazing mannerisms in dealing with my elderly grandmother, excellent communication with timely updates and an absolute gem to deal with.

Probate Assistance
We dealt with Paul Baker following the death of our father and needed assistance relating to his estate. Paul and the team at Slater Heelis were excellent from start to finish and we were kept up to date all all stages through the process which took 3-4 months.

Divorce, conveyancing and wills
Thanks to an extremely contentious and unpleasant divorce, I needed a lot of help and guidance from Heather. She helped me navigate the process and supported me throughout. I can't thank her enough.
Zara handled the house sale, which again was more complicated and protracted than it needed to be, but she kept all parties on track. Finally, Paul helped me set up my new will, so that I feel settled about the future. Huge thanks to you all.

Drafting a relatively complex Will
I used Paul to draft my Will which was relatively complex because I wished it to create, if necessary, a vulnerable person trust for my wife who is in 24 hour nursing care and unable to look after herself. I then wished the residual estate to be divided between family and other personal beneficiaries and charitable bequests. Paul took great care to understand my wishes and then to explain the draft Will and associated Letter of Wishes. All done speedily and sympathetically.
