I want to thank you for all that you have done for my relative over these last few years. He clearly made a good choice in opting for Birkett Long to manage his affairs, and was doubly fortunate to have you personally attending to day to day matters.
You have been such a wonderful help in keeping me informed of my relative's situation. Particularly in those early days when, we now know, he was undernourished and troubled mentally. It was a great comfort to me on the other side of the globe to know that you were working to help him.
I was so pleased that you were able to attend his funeral and that you could meet my niece and her friends, all of whom knew him well.
I think he would have appreciated the service.

Leah was recommended to me by my neighbour and I’m extremely pleased I listened to the recommendation! Leah has been professional throughout and has always gone the extra mile for me, even fitting me in for an appointment with only 20 minutes notice! I would not hesitate to recommend her, she was welcoming and dealt with everything promptly and efficiently.

Great service
I instructed Leah a few weeks ago to help with mum’s house and Lloyds. She was easily contactable by phone and email and very proactive. She gave me a gentle nudge when I was slowing things down and now the grant has been issued which is a huge weight lifted from me. She is clearly an expert in her field and has so much knowledge! Leah helped me out at a really low point in my life and she put me to ease instantly. I would definitely use leah’s services again

Fantastic
A great experience in the hands of Leah! She is caring and friendly and made putting power of attorneys in place an absolute breeze! Leah kept me informed and even contacted my previous solicitors to recover my title to my house. She went above and beyond! A fab experience!

Brilliant lawyer and person
Leah helped assist me deal with my uncles complicated Will and had to speak with difficult family members (sorry again!) She was compassionate and no query was ever too silly. She was always around to answer phone calls and responded to emails promptly. For what was a stressful process she made it a lot easier and a positive experience. Thank you Leah

Fantastic
Leah is clearly very knowledgeable and put me and my aunt at ease straight away. She explained the process well and was very understanding of my aunt’s situation and came to my aunt’s house to meet her in person rather than having to make the journey to Colchester. Fantastic

Legal advice
I contacted Birkett through a web chat and Leah responded to my enquiry within minutes. We spoke about my situation and she was efficient and booked a meeting to see her straight away. No waiting around weeks for an appointment like other businesses I’ve used. She listens and explained the way forward for me and my siblings well. She was kind to me and I will contact her again in the future for dad. She was very reassuring and put me to ease instantly
