I completed the ILEX Legal Diploma in 2008 and went to work for a large firm in Bromley in their Private Client department as a Legal Secretary in 2009. I stayed with that firm for nine years, working my way up to Legal Assistant. I then joined the Private Client team at Martin Tolhurst in 2018 and have since been promoted to Paralegal. Day to day, I assist with drafting of Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney as well as dealing with the administration of estates. I have over twelve years’ experience in the private client sector and I enjoy my work. I am a Dementia Friend and have a personal connection with Alzheimer’s Society. I am always looking to fund raise for the charity and help people living with Alzheimer’s and Dementia in any way that I can. Outside of the office I love spending time with my family, days out with my husband and our little boy and spending time with friends. I have a performing arts background and so I love going to the theatre!

Having used Martin Tolhurst before they were my go to for dealing with a grant of probate after the passing of my daughter.
From our first meeting Charlotte was friendly and professional understanding what a difficult time this was.She explained in terms that even I could understand exactly what applying for probate entailed and how long things could take.(This turned out to be almost a year) Throughout the process I was kept informed at all times any emails or phone calls were dealt with promptly and quickly and I was never made to feel as if I was being a nuisance.

Application for probate
Martin Tolhurst have always been my go to solicitors.
I have recently used them for the application of Grant of Probate following the recent passing of a close friend. From my initial phone call with Paul Rothwell and a follow up meeting with both Paul and Charlotte Hatcher, they made the whole process as easy as possible until probate was subsequently received.
Charlotte, who dealt with all the administration, provided me with lots of help, advise and support throughout. She kept me updated throughout and answered all my questions in a timely manner. I found her to be very professional, courteous and respectful.
I don't have any hesitation at all in recommending both Paul and Charlotte. Thank you again both for all your help.

Will and probate
We had a will which was challenging and probate was needed and Charlotte Hatcher and her team worked hard to get every thing that was needed so we could complete the will and try and keep everyone in family pleased.

Power of Attorney
From the very first meeting, and all the way through to the end, Charlotte was warm, approachable and knowledgeable. She was very responsive to emails and phone calls, and really took a personal interest in ensuring that my grandparents' care and best interests were always at the forefront of any decisions.
