Karen was admitted as a solicitor in 1995 and since then, has worked in the area of Family Law. She is the Chair of the Law Society Family Law Committee. She holds accreditations denoting her specialism in family work to an advanced level. She is a member of both the Law Society and Resolution. She is heavily engaged with HM Courts & Tribunal Services in the design, testing and implementation of the digital court reform project. She is an family finance arbitrator and Vice Chair of the Forum of family Arbitrators, which is the national voice for arbitration. Outside of law, she is the Chair of Trust Board of a Multi Academy Trust running six schools.
