Started Strong, But Left Us Stranded When It Mattered Most
We first engaged Victor Welsh in 2018 to assist with transferring my late mother’s share of a property in Tenerife, and initially, Bernice and Alejandro provided excellent support. When the property was later sold in 2020, they took on the capital gains tax (CGT) process. Unfortunately, that’s when things took a turn.
Despite already paying their fees, they later admitted they hadn’t accounted for the full complexity of the CGT obligations in their service charges. This oversight led to years of delays, mounting penalties, and frustration. I tried numerous times to get clear guidance, but communication eventually stopped altogether, leaving me with no choice but to hire another firm to resolve the issue.
While they may be suitable for straightforward property transfers, anyone with complex tax needs may want to seek a more responsive, specialised firm.
