Child custody battle
I originally approached Kim and her team to assist in getting a consent order for a 50/50 shared care agreement.
However the child's mother disagreed with this even after lengthy negotiation and agreement prior to us approaching legal. And demanded I stayed with her.
This turned into a legal battle where Kim had given me critical advise on how to move forward.
With the support of Kim and Sheila (barrister) we achieved an outcome ; 50/50 duel lives with shared care agreement.
The value doesn't just come from the outcome of the case, I believe the knowledge and understanding improved me as a co-parent parent.
Kim and her team may seem pricey, but when it comes to your kids future. Getting the job done right is what matters most, because if you don't do everything in your power now you'll regret it later.

The impossible made possible
I approached KT family solicitors as a newly separated, somewhat distressed single mother, with what felt like the world on my shoulders. I didn’t know what questions to ask let alone what advice I was after. I sat down with Kim for my initial hours free advice, Kim was friendly and not in the slightest judgemental. I explained my situation, my concerns, what I thought was my end goal and she made it very clear I didn’t need to worry there was help available, that, crucially, I could afford. I had spoken to other firms who made it very clear at the point of expressing how stretched my finances were that they’d be unable to help. I honestly cannot express how helpful Kim has been in what has been one of the most stressful years of my life. Her experience, approach and all over attitude to my situation was second to none. I would without doubt recommend and will use again myself. I cannot thank you enough Kim. There aren’t enough words to explain the impact the advise I was given had had, as I said above, you made the impossible, possible.

Outstanding service
I have previously used KTFamily Solicitors on a few occasions for a family arrangement matter. From the start the level of information and service was exceptional. My solicitor Kim Tucker is a highly knowledge expert in Family Matters. On both occasions she represented me we received the successful outcome we wanted. Effective, efficient, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable.
Kim took on my case half way through proceedings after my previous solicitors office closed.
Kim arranged a meeting quickly and was able to get her head round the case without issue.
All advice was clear, concise and effective and Kim was able to prepare a position statement and instructions barristers at short notice.
After the first hearing Kim was clear in direction and was able to not only save excessive costs but also prevented a second hearing from happening by securing agreement by all parties.
Kim was extremely knowledgeable and was available for advice whenever needed.
I will always refer Kim to anyone who needs representation or advice in regards Family/child custody matters after my extremely positive experience.

Divorce and financial advice
Kim acted for me and led me through the minefield of divorce legalities, explaining everything in simple terms that made me feel safe with her. She felt more like a friend than a solicitor as she has such a lovely friendly personality but she is fiercely committed and really knows the law . I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone.
