I used Hesham Puri from MK Law to represent me. From the start right up until the very end he was absolutely brilliant. Appalling neglectful treatment
I was treated awfully by this firm in Shoreditch High Street from police station visit 22.07.3024, to my first appointment 01.08.2024. If you have any disabilities, this firm will discriminate against you and they have no shame about it.
Hirshi spoke down to me and failed to take any instructions. Instead of a meaningful consultation, he spoke all of the time and failed to give me any time to speak in the short 5 minutes meeting. I raised concerns in an email which is all client’s right to do so, and I was dropped and left in the lurch.
According to their website, making a complaint will not affect your case, but with this firm it most definitely does.
They then ensured that no other solicitor represented me and took the legal aid funding and run.
Despite being seriously assaulted by the police followed by many hospital appointments and scarred for life, I was then dishonestly charged. MK Law had no concern about my welfare or what I suffered with.
The police station visit was a disaster and no notes were passed on from that.
My one and only appointment with Hirsh was unprofessional, rushed and belittling. At the hearing, I pleaded not guilty, yet a random solicitor from their firm wrongly and neglectfully admitted my guilt!
They dropped me two days later, left me in the lurch and run.
This firm is arrogant and neglectful. As a grandmother who never leaves my house, I was assaulted by the police in my house and accused of obstruction because I said I did not want them in my house. It was an abuse of process and unlawful.
Before meeting any of the team, I was told that Katerina, then Kimberly and then Hirsh would be my solicitor. Katerina called me and dropped me without any procedural notice. Awful awful firm. I hope to warn others that if you are under a legal aid scheme, they will treat you as insignificant and worthless. If you have a disability then they will discriminate against you regardless.

We represented the client at the police station and and at court however she refused to take instructions from her solicitors, refused to look at the evidence the police had against her and refused to listen to the advice we were giving her. We've reviewed the case notes and the client pleaded Not Guilty to numerous counts and the solictor representing her did NOT make any admission of guilt. There was no suggestion that she had any sort of disability but that is irrelevant as we provide the same standard of care irrespective of race, gender, disability or orientation. The claim that she was treated differently because of a disability is untrue and libellous. Once we agreed that it would not be right to represent this client, we informed her and then contacted the Legal Aid agency to release our Legal Aid so that another firm could apply to represent her going forward. This is the normal proceedure set out by the Legal Aid agency in these situations. Therefore, her claim that we "then ensured that no other solicitor represented me and took the legal aid funding and run" is completely false. We are fundamentally a Legal Aid firm so the suggestion that we treat Legal Aid clients in an inferior way is ridiculous and the reviews we have on this site are a testament to the levels of care we provide all of our customers.

Excellent knowledge and experience
My experience with Mr puri is very good, highly recommended, he has excellent knowledge and experience about criminal laws and how to handle false allegation crime cases. He allocate proper time to understand the case and thoroughly explains police and cps for false baseless allegations by other party on his client.
The main other quality is he is very genuine , honest and never tried to grab money from client by showing false threats like few other solicitors. he understand client financial and mental situation when any one done false allegations, due to false allegation and other loss my financial and mental situation was not good, I disturb him also few times but he easily approachable, he gave so much confident to me during my case and reduce my worries about false allegations and never tried to grab more money like other solicitors.
Highly recommended for any criminal cases. He also have good team member like lauryn and Natasha.
