This was our second time using Pepperells for conveyancing. Wouldn't use any other firm. Megan Handley was fantastic, 10 out of 10!

First time buyers.
Megan was absolutely lovely… on the odd occasion we actually spoke… I think maybe twice throughout the whole process. I’m guessing it is a very busy time for solicitors at the moment as I felt I had to do a lot of the chasing up and calling with reminders I was waiting for things, catching up with things etc.
A lot of the time Megan wasn’t available so I spoke with her assistants. We’re still waiting for a payment to come to us from our lender. Megan stated she would chase this with accounts first thing last week, a week later and I had to chase this up and it was Sophie that advised me to send further info, sent that info to Megan as advised, not had any reply so not sure if I’ll be chasing this up again next week or not?
As a whole, we’re in our new home, our first home and everything went by reasonably quickly or so I’m told on others experiences with buying a house. We just feel our experience wasn’t very personable and a lot of the time we felt we were a burden than anything. Which is a shame as we chose Pepperells on reviews from others. I will say the receptionists that have answered the phones throughout have been absolutely lovely!

Speedy house sale
Megan handled the sale of our house very professionally and quickly. Very good communications meant we were kept informed of progress and knew what we needed to do.

House purchase

Grant of probate
Charlotte has been brilliant with my application for probate. Really good communication at every stage and quick to act.
I have asked Pepperells to look after a LPA, Probate and now my Conveyencing. Every time has been 100% service.
I would highly recommend them.

conveyancing
I found Megan and her team to be very professional throughout our experience of selling and purchasing our new home.
Very approachable, kept us updated.Made the process as easy as possible. Also the girls on the front desk were so helpful nothing to much trouble .
Highly recommend.

Friendly but errors in legal documents
We used Pepperells to sell and purchase our house.
Overall the service was friendly and Megan was friendly and personable both by email and over the phone.
There were errors in the legal paperwork drafted by Pepperells which was not corrected prior to our signatures and on several occasions attachments were missing from emails and incorrect documents were sent when requested.
I think we got what we paid for in terms of service but I wouldn't use Pepperells again.

Very professional
I found Megan to be very friendly and knowledgeable, any questions were answered immediately.
I was kept informed about the progress of my purchase at all time.
