If I wanted a gas boiler fitted, I would go to someone who is qualified rather than try to do it myself. The same principles applies to legal advice. For our set of circumstances there were all sorts of complicated legal considerations we could not have anticipated and Tej brought these to our attention and presented options in an easy to undersand manner. In particular, we were impressed with his speed in answering our questions which helped reduce the stress of us dealing with legal issues outside our sphere of knowledge.

Extremely knowledgeable and helpful
Following my son receiving a drink driving charge we contacted Birkett Long and were put in touch with Tej.
From the outset Tej was very helpful and set our expectations at a realistic level, which turned out to be pretty accurate! Fantastic, professional legal support, none better in my experience
Finding a solicitor can be hard sometimes, but finding a good one can be even more challenging. With Tej Thakkar supporting me, I soon realised I was in excellent hands from start to finish. The information and legal explanations from Tej were first-class, informative, supportive and thorough, I was never in any doubt about what was happening, and Tej briefed me perfectly. Traffic Commissioners Public Inquiry
We engaged Tej to advice and represent us at a Public Inquiry called by the Traffic Commissioner relating to a problematical application for a replacement Operators Licence. Despite a tight deadline Tej took the time to question us in detail and fully and rapidly understand our position.
He then gave concise, accurate and easy to understand expert legal advice on our position along with details of how the Public Inquiry would take place, even down to the likely layout of the room and how we should dress for the day. He then advised us on our best approach on the day making sure that we were fully prepared for the Inquiry which made the process far less stressful.
At the Inquiry he managed to articulate our situation superbly whilst maintaining at all time respect for the Commissioner which resulted in him achieving an excellent result and the Licence being confirmed on the day.
The fact that he achieves all this whilst maintaining a cheerful and approachable demeanour, which certainly helped us relax a little, is outstanding.
We hope never to be in a similar situation but if we are, or we simply need more expert guidance, we will definitely talk only to Tej.
