Can't recommend Michael enough. Straight talking, knowledgeable and extremely efficient. Not being a lover of solicitors, Michael Feakes is the only solicitor I will use in future.

This review is posted by me on behalf of my daughter Jenny whom Michael assisted. I cannot recommend Feakes & Co solicitors enough! I first contacted Michael with a query to see if he could help me out on writing up a contract/agreement and I had an immediate response and a telephone appointment within days. He spent almost an hour chatting to me on the phone before I had even committed to using him as my solicitor. He was so friendly, patient and very professional throughout this conversation and at no point did I feel like I was wasting his time. Once we agreed on what the next step was, he had written up a very detailed and in depth contract within a matter of days. I have and will continue to recommend Feakes & Co and will certainly continue to use his company for any future legal requirements.

I emailed with a query on Monday and Michael responded within a matter of hours and we were booked an appointment within 2 days. Karen met us at reception and was very friendly and helped us sign some documents that we needed. The whole process was very easy and quick. We would highly recommend!

Michael helped us with a small matter of witnessing and signing some papers at short notice and even a small job like that was treated with a high level of professionalism.
Communication and advice was brilliant and cost was very very reasonable.

I recently decided to take the step of getting an LPA in place, as I don’t have a large family, and should anything happen to me, it would fall to my son to make decisions on my behalf. I want that to be as clear and easy for him as possible.
Michael Feakes came highly recommended, so we arranged a meeting to get the process under way. Michael explained the whole process, and what the two documents (health and financial) cover.
The whole process was very straightforward and Michael explained it all clearly, so I felt I really understood the whole thing.
Now I know, whatever happens in the future, my son will have all the correct powers and documentation, and at least won’t have to worry about extra and complicated legal processes.
I really would recommend working with Michael, and not delaying getting your LPA.

I have been dealing with Feakes & Co for a few years now over various matters. I have always found them to be very professional, approachable and helpful. My main two contacts at Feakes & Co are Michael and Karen who are very knowledgeable, although everyone I have dealt with at Feakes I have always found to be very pleasant to deal with. I would most certainly recommend Feakes 100% to friends and family and will continue to use them in the future.
