Like most people faced with an unexpected legal event… I was bewildered, terrified and struggled to differentiate between the legal firms that promised a lot, and those that delivered a lot.
Akram and Andrew are very much the latter, and I couldn’t be more thankful for the support and advice they provided to my wife and I during an extremely protracted and stressful period of my life.
I had excellent legal representation, advice on the end of the phone whenever needed and reassurance at the times when I thought I couldn’t cope.

This chapter is now closed, and I can go about life once again, recovering from the trauma of the last few years. Amazing Amazing team!! and Mr Akram, great solicitor
We have recently got 'not guilty' verdict from our trial which was a great result indeed!! We can not express ourselves good enough to Mr Akram and Mr Kevin (King's counsel) the team was the most amazing team to keep our future life safe. When my husband was reported and under investigation then the case was decided to go for trial at Crown court, our family lost our life and we did not know what to do. As a duty solicitor did not really seem to help with our case, we had to find someone then luckily we spoke with Mr Adrew from Holborn Adams and met Mr Akram. Mr Akram listened to us carefully, understood our situation well, explained the process we had to go through. He is such a great solicitor, he is very capable and confident with what he needs to do to help our case. We were also impressed how much he went into the details to find out the point to defend our case. He introduced Me Kevin who is also the greatest counsel. We were so lucky to meet Mr Akram and Mr Kevin, they advised us not only just for case and paper works, but also cared for us as a person, and gave us so much encouragement not to lose our minds during the difficult period of time. We did not know anything about law which made us more scared but Mr Akram was there with us from the beginning, and Mr Kevin was there to speak for us at the trial. Exceptional Service
I made a terrible mistake and found myself in serious trouble with the law facing a lengthy jail sentence as I was originally charged with GBH (section 18), thanks to the expertise, and vast knowledge of Akram and his team, I'm pleased and very grateful to say he/they managed to get me a deal for a lessor offence GBH (section 20) for which I pleaded guilty to with the outcome being a suspended sentence and community order. This was a very stressful period for me but Akram defiantly put me at ease with his clear guidance, professionalism and reassurance. Im sure without Akram and his team it would of been a completly different outcome, I cannot commend Akram enough honestly he's an outstanding individual who's one hundred percent capable and competent.

We were referred to Holborn Adams Ltd by a close family friend to urgently represent a family member in the UK courts. Being from Australia, we were originally at a loss as to who to turn to with the myriad of legal services and representation. We sent emails, made phone calls and wrote to various law firms to help represent the matter urgently but were either turned away due to particular conditions as to pass from person to person.
One phone call stood out with Akram, who gave us an hour and hour and half his time explaining about the UK legal system, our family relation's case and also options (mind you, we were not paying for his time). Over the course a few months (well short of the escalation of the case), we had a pleasing outcome thanks to Akram and his team. I could not recommend a better solicitor and his team.

Mum of three
Five months ago, my son was accused of ‘taking and making indecent photographs of a child’. The child was his 17-year-old ex-girlfriend and her allegation hit our family like a grenade.
I Googled “solicitor indecent images” on my phone and spoke to ‘Andrew Ford’ from Holborn Adams. It was a very helpful conversation. There was no clock ticking against the conversation and he gave what was really First Aid to our situation. His view was to nip the whole thing in the bud by using ‘Pre-Charge Representation.’
You won’t necessarily have heard of ‘Pre-Charge Representation’, I hadn’t. It is where your solicitor can represent you before there is even a charge; potentially halting proceedings before they ever take hold. This made total sense.
At this stage, the police had seized my son’s phone and were forensically searching it. We were automatically on the back foot. My son couldn’t remember the dates of things that happened. It had affected his health, he lost two stone, couldn’t eat, sleep or think without the constant worry going over and over things in his head about images that could devastate his life.
Akram Mula is an outstanding advocate. He is seriously good at what he does.
Not only did Akram spend four hours in our local Police station, representing my son in a police interview. He also spoke to the officer in the case. He then spoke directly to the Police Sargent as well as the Superintendent. Akram’s results of ‘no further action’ speak for themselves.
