Having been a Director at two previous law firms, Richard joined Ison Harrison Solicitors as a Partner and Head of Corporate in February 2019. Richard brings a wealth of experience across a wide range of legal issues such as corporate and commercial law, litigation and dispute resolution and associated employment related issues. This range of experience means that Richard is ideally suited to advising business on the plethora of legal issues they can face on a daily basis. Richard has previously advised national financial institutions, car manufacturers and an international pharmaceutical company but his passion is for helping local SME’s and Owner Managed Businesses to achieve success through strong legal support and compliance. Outstanding
Richard has been outstanding, from being patient and understanding when the deal takes an unexpected turn, not being pushy or inpatient, he understood the complexities. When the deal was back on track, Richard was back on it! Working with extremely tight deadlines Richard was so dedicated to getting the deal over the line it was incredible! From multiple emails at the weekend, to late night weekday responses, we managed to keep on track due to Richards complete competence. I would not hesitate to use Richard again, and in fact I would go as far to say he is the best in the business. Thanks Richard for everything, and please thank Hester also.

Richard and team were excellent
Recently had the pleasure of working with Richard Coulthard and his team (Hester Lines for one) on a business disposal. Richard was very proactive throughout the whole project, ensuring our client was kept updated and fully aware of any potential implications. The deal was turned around in a very impressive time period, no doubt due to Richard's proactiveness. Would have no hesitation in utilising Richard and the wider Ison Harrison team for future transactions.

Excellent service
Although slow to get started once the process was underway everything was handeled in a very efficient way.
In the end it was Richard who sorted out problems that the purchsers solicitor should have done. He really went above and beyond in this case

A truly knowledgeable, professional and outstanding service. We felt 100% supported through the whole process. Sale of Domiciliary Care Company and associated office building
The whole experience was protracted and drawn out, primarily due to the lack of experience of the buyers solicitor who kept requiring ever-increasing due diligence from us. The sale was programmed to go through on April 5th 2023 and eventually completed October 20th.
However, this is no reflection on the wonderful support, advice and professionalism that we, as sellers, received from Richard at Ison Harrison Solicitors. He has steadied the ship through the difficult and often frustrating waters and kept the four of us sane and advised throughout.
Personally, I could not give a higher recommendation and will definitely see if we can use him again when we eventually sell our care home. Thank you Richard and all of your team! 1st class!

Excellent Service
