My workload includes drafting wills, lasting powers of attorney, probate applications, trust documents, and managing deputyship matters on a day-to-day basis. I also assist with estate and trust administration, including associated tax implications. My aspiration to pursue a career in law stems from my desire to help people during challenging times. I have always been intrigued by the legal profession. My passion for private client work was solidified during my studies to dual qualify as a Chartered Legal Executive and Solicitor. I use the skills and knowledge I have gained throughout my experience to assist clients and achieve successful outcomes. My ability to build relationships with people from diverse backgrounds equips me to support clients during some of the most difficult times in their lives. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family - especially my dog! I am also proud to be a Dementia Friend.

Zero hassle wills
We'd procrastinated on making our wills for years and years - perhaps thinking it would be a complex process. In reality it wasn't just a smooth, zero fuss process you'd hope for from a competent professional solicitor, it was actually pleasant too. Katie was recommended by a friend, and I've just recommended her to my complete circle of friends too. Zero hassle wills - it's what we're all looking for!

Katie was very patient with both my mum and myself. We changed our Wills at the end of last year but due to my mum's car accident in January we didn't get round to signing them until the other week. Neither of us felt rushed in either meeting and Katie was happy to answer all questions.

Will trust advice and land registry registration.
I needed some help sorting out my late Mum’s will trust. I had completed this myself originally but had made a couple of mistakes. I called Birkett Long for some advice and gave them the details and was passed to Katie Elsdon. Katie made the process straight forward and her communication was excellent.
