Overpriced and drawn out experience
Overpriced and drawn out experience This company took advantage of a grieving family. We believe there was a conflict of interest using their own estate agents to sell our inherited home so they could drag out the process to bill us for longer than necessary. We since found out they have closed down their estate agents office which is of no surprise. Billing does not show full details of work carried out for the quarter no evidence attached to invoices. We unfortunately suffered further bereavements over the 3 years it took them to not complete the estate work. In the end we dismissed them and successfully completed it ourselves but during this time when there was no activity they still managed to send us a high bill when barely any work was carried out. All in all a very sad disappointing experience at a time when families should feel supported and not taken advantage of. Would not recommend this company at all..

We are sorry you feel this way. The administration of the estate was complicated by the death of one of the executors, and the death of a beneficiary which delayed matters and made it more complex and protracted than it would usually be. There were also matters out of our control relating to the property, including a buyer pulling out of the sale, and a leak which needed to be fixed.
