Richard Hopgood joined Larcomes in 1998 after reading Law. Richard specialises in representing asbestos disease victims and their families and in dealing with compensation claims for asbestos related pleural thickening, asbestosis, asbestos related lung cancer and mesothelioma. Richard is a member of the Association of Personal injury Lawyers. In the Chambers UK Guide, commentators say that Richard is a “great communicator” also noting that “the client is at the forefront, so he’ll go the extra mile.” In his free time, Richard enjoys playing his guitar and spending time with his wife and two young daughters.
