Lindsay McKinnie to the rescue!
I was fortunate enough to have Lindsay McKinnie as my duty solicitor whilst conducting a voluntary interview for an assault by beating charge on my son. She spoke to the police on my behalf and after viewing the CCTV footage of the incident she advised there was the potential of me receiving a 'police caution' if I admitted to the offence. However, after I had explained to Lindsay the full context of the incident, she completely understood the situation and advised that I shouldn't admit to any offence and that I acted reasonably and moderately under a legal defence of 'reasonable chastisement'. The matter went to Magistrates Court and I won my case based on this defence.
Lindsay was friendly, relatable and offered professional, informative advice. I was so happy she was there to help protect myself especially when the police were asking the same questions towards me angling for a particular answer, Lindsay stepped in for me. She went over and above for me despite me not using Stryders for my court case due to the legal costs, she stayed in touch for moral support.

At no point did we feel that there were any concerns of neglect, towards us or the situation we were dealing with. Lindsay remained focused and gave us peace of mind. This meant so much & was so important.

Excellent Emotional and Legal Support
Lindsay from Stryders was truly amazing! She provided emotional and legal support with compassion and empathy. Lindsay was honest and open about possible outcomes so I were fully aware of the repurcussions, even if they were hard to except.
I only wish I had Lindsay representing me when the situation started, so that the outcomes could have been achieved sooner.
