I have recently had support from Sam Buckthought with regards to disolving my late father's Lifetime Interest Trust. Sam was professional but personable, knowledgeable, efficient and responsive to all of my itty bitty queries. I have truly felt I was in safe hands having her handle this peice of work. I would thoroughly recommend Sam and as a result will be asking Sam to set up a Will for me. Thank you to Sam and Patrice, who has also been an asset to Wolferstans.

Very helpful and efficient

Very helpful and efficient

Excellent Staff

Very happy with solicitor dealing my parents estate
When my father died at the end of the first lockdown we found the will he had made many years ago together with a letter from Wolfestans saying they had taken over the execution of the will from the original solicitor. I along with my brother and sister were beneficiaries of this will but not appointed as executors, this was to be Wolfestans. It was therefore not my choice to appoint them. Within 5 months my mother had also died which was overwhelming for the family. Sam Buckthought was the appointed executor and was a pleasure to deal with. The probate on both wills was professionally and quickly obtained despite ongoing lockdowns and Sam dealt very sensitively with everything that was going on. The trouble we did have was trying to sell my parents property which took 2 1/2 years. Sam patiently looked after the estate during that time and kept the family well informed, giving good advice as and when needed and coordinating with the conveyancer. My only hesitation in not giving 5 stars is that I thought the fees were rather high, although we had been given estimates at the beginning of the process. I would not hesitate to recommend Wolfestans but would caution that making solicitors executors to your will is a VERY expensive business.

Estate of Eric Boesch
We were very pleased with the service provided. We were the named executors in Mr Boesch's Will and although we were au fait with his finances, having had long term PoA for him, we were less sure about Inheritance Tax and Probate matters. We Approached Wolferstans to help us with these matters and were offered several options by their very capable Samantha Buckthought. Basically, we supplied the financial statements and Sam did all the rest.

A very Happy and Satisfied Client
Sorting out my will was never going to be easy because of the complexities around my business interests and assets and also its never a hot topic discussing ones death.
Sam Bethought and her team did an amazing job after my initial brief and was able to understand precisely what I wanted to achieve. Supportive and tenacious
Samantha was not only a pleasure to work with, but her tenacious pursuit HMRC, and immense patience in this regard, resulted in a refund to the estate which exceeded originally estimates by over £46,000, thus increasing the value of our residuary legacy. I am incredibly grateful to her for her support throughout the administration of this estate, and look forward to working with her again in the future.
