Emma Sargeant
Legal Executive
I am a Chartered Legal Executive specialising in residential conveyancing and work from the firm’s Leigh office. I started my career as a Trainee Legal Executive in 2003 after completing my LLB (HONS) Degree and graduating from the University of Central Lancashire. I qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in 2008 and joined Butcher & Barlow LLP in January 2014. I pride myself on providing an excellent level of client care to my clients. I am approachable, down to earth, and always on the other end of the phone or email. I do like to see clients in person which gives a more personal service. I feel this is the reason that a large percentage of my clients are returning client, having instructed me previously and been more than satisfied with the work I carried out on their behalf. I have worked in the local area throughout my career, working in Leigh Town Centre for some 10 years, and Tyldesley Town Centre for the past 5 years. I feel that working within the local area gives me an advantage – I have a good working relationship with the local estate agents, mortgage brokers and solicitors, which helps to ensure completions take place in a timely manner and makes for a quick, stress-free and pleasant transaction.

Extremely reassuring
Emma from Butcher and Barlow was recommend by a family friend and I am very glad I took their advice. Buying a house is renowned for being a stressful time and our experience was certainly no different. We were very lucky to have Emma and the team at Butcher and Barlow reassuring us along the way that all was in hand. Going above and beyond to ensure we didn’t cut any corners and most importantly despite being extremely busy making sure we got the updates and support when we needed them most.
We are extremely happy to have the keys to our new home and can’t recommend Emma enough.
