ID1 Verification
I needed to get a ID1 verification for a Land Registry transaction. Finding somewhere in York was a nightmare as not many solicitors do them. Luckily I found Will at Lockings. The process was quick and efficient, taking less than 30 minutes. The experience was professional and friendly and I would not hesitate to use Will/Lockings again.

Excellent
Rang for an appointment and got one within the week, great location as I work near town in York easy to find, William was great and really put me at ease as never needed a solicitor before even with a mishap on my end he was patient and made sure something was sorted so I didn’t leave with anything unfinished.

Buying and selling properties
We were selling one property and buying another and Lockings offered a very reasonable price to do both of these. As it turned out, the process was more complicated than originally anticipated but Lockings worked to their original estimate and spent a good deal of time sorting out the various issues without compromising their service or commitment to us. We feel that we received first rate, personal service, tailored to our needs and the issues that arose and will certainly use Lockings again. We particularly valued the ability to speak to the team (in the office reception and by phone) and appreciated the time and patience with which they dealt with our case. Thank you.
