Another substantial area of practice is dealing with disputes regarding child arrangements. Where matters go to court, it is only rarely that he is not the advocate representing the client. Other areas of law include cohabitation finance, family injunctions, law of property disputes, child maintenance and Inheritance Act claims.

Family Matter

Richard Ronaldson was referred to me by a friend for a family divorce

I actually enjoyed meetings with him and his team, even though I was aware of the cost.

The team tried to negotiate a fair settlement with my ex-wife but to no avail, as every attempt rebuffed and escalated.

I would suggest that anyone using Richard listens to what is said. I think we all know divorce is not a nice thing and would like to try to be fair with regard to the parties concerned. Richard advised a good six to nine months that they were going to be unable to negotiate with my ex and her lawyer team and the only way was to proceed to court. I didn't take that advice at first and hence my solicitors costs were far higher than they needed to be.

Richard has far more experience than I. At court the judge could see we tried and tried to reach a fair settlement. This went against my ex and she didn't end up with the settlement she thought was correct.

Trust the team you employ and do exactly what they say.

Sadly I have needed help from Richard 3 times now and have been greatly impressed, not just by Richard himself and his straightforward approach and straight talking, but the empathy he had towards the child custody court case. Richard is tenancious in your defence and the welfare of the children. I cannot recommend this solicitor practice highly enough and his rates are affordable for such an excellent service

I throughly recommend Ronaldsons Solicitors and I can’t rate Richard highly enough. For the past 10 months or so Richard has been helping me with getting access to my 16 month old daughter. Richard has always been open and honest with me and acted in my best interests. I am so happy to say that contact has been reinstated and this would not have been possible without Richard. Definitely 100% recommended. I'd never used a solicitors before so I was very anxious. The few I'd spoken to BEFORE Ronaldsons were awful, however Ronaldsons have been amazing in handling my difficult divorce and also my change of name by Deed Poll. I cannot thank them enough. Tracy and Richard reassured and guided me through the whole process in a very timely manner, even with the delays from Covid-19, and kept me up to date at all times. Prices were more than fair, and they will do what they can for their clients to keep costs down if at all possible. Thank you again Ronaldsons. Highly recommended and if needed I will use again in the future.

for the last 12 months I have had Richards help with a custody/access battle for my 4 children that I have cared for on my own for the past 7 years.
it came to an end yesterday finally and the result was exactly what I wanted and what the kids wanted too.
I as worried about expense but Richard and Ronaldsons as a whole are an excellent company and deserve every penny they earn. Money well spent and would recommend their company time and time again.
