Fantastic - From Start to Finish
We recently engaged Wollens to undertake our house sale and subsequent onward purchase.
David and the team were brilliant throughout the entire process. Despite several setbacks, they pushed everything forwards and were consistently professional, diligent, and prompt.

Exemplary Service
I can enthusiastically recommend hiring Mr David Brooking, conveyancing solicitor at Woolens in Torquay. I had a long winded house purchasing experience, mared by Probate delays. The least of my issues was the conveyancing aspect because of how quickly, deftly and diplomatically Mr Brooking handled my case.
Almost immediately after signing up with Woolens, Mr Brooking began working at an accelerated rate - considerably faster than I expected. He unearthed all the necessary documents and sent every one without delay. Within no time at all, my printer was in its element chugging away without much repose, and my Purchase folder was bursting at the seams.
Mr Brooking was always available for telephone conversations, and never failed to respond quickly to my emails. He took the mystery out of legalese, giving easily graspable translations to convoluted terms for more easy understanding. Moreso, he did this in a very relational and sensitive fashion. Clear communication is certainly one of Mr Brooking's strength.
Furthermore, he liaised very well with my high-spirited Estate Agent, and found ways to bring about quiescence at moments of pressure and impatience.
During periods of annual leave, Mr Brooking delivered me into the capable hands of colleagues - particularly Ms Abigail Marsh, who provided seamless assistance throughout onerous hoops and hurdles.
Had it not been for delays outside my or Mr Brooking's control, the whole process would have completed in the shortest timeframe. I attribute this to Mr Brooking's years of experience, attention to detail, attendance to form, but also flow.
I made the right choice. It was money well spent. Speaking of which, rest assured, there are many firms and independent solicitors who charge far more than Wollens. I hope my review hopes you pinpoint your priorities.

Absolutely fantastic
I've used Wollens previously and had no hesitation in using them again for my house sale & onward purchase. Danielle was brilliant at every stage, communication was as easy as you could imagine and I was kept up to date at every stage which was incredibly reassuring. Even when matters were complicated, Danielle was able to explain them in a way that was simple and easy to understand.
David helped towards the end of the transaction and was fantastic to deal with . Even when there was immense pressure, he was level headed and provided straightforward advice which is exactly what was needed.
I would have absolutely zero hesitation in recommending both Danielle or David (and for that matter anyone else at Wollens).
