Luke’s experience centres on Banking and Finance Litigation and Securities, whilst also previously assisting clients in his capacity as a specialised finance broker. This gives him a highly valuable and rare insight into the regulated and unregulated finance market, products and associated terms, banking facilities, security documentation and legal / underwriting requirements. It then dovetails uniquely with his experience as a solicitor, which revolves around issues and disputes on advisor/lender misconduct on banking facilities or where clients fell into pitfalls which were not properly explained to them from the outset contained within the security documentation. On the one hand, he knows what can and does go wrong for clients when they are not properly advised on the right funding structure and associated risk / implications of Loan Agreements, Personal Guarantees and Debentures. On the other hand what the funding requirements and conditions that are common place in the specialist finance market.   This enables him to provide an exceptionally high standard of care and level of advice when providing clients with Independent Legal Advice on Loan Agreements, Personal Guarantees, Debentures and other associated security documentation.
