Dispute with an Energy Company
My client (I'm his accountant) had a notice that he'd be taken to Court for non payment over a disputed account. I contacted Tozers and with their help the initial threat of being taken to Court was put aside while we properly disputed the account. With the considerable and efficient help of a young paralegal (now training as a trainee solicitor) named Jack Matthews we successfully managed to get the account significantly amended though it took nearly a year to do so! Tozers' fees for the work were extremely reasonable. My client and I were delighted with the outcome.

Making my will and other matters
Although my original appointment with Emma McAdam was fine, after that there was no consistency of personnel. An appointment was made for me with Sophie-Dominique (who I have never met) to sign my will. I was told at the last minute that she was otherwise occupied. I was seen by Maxine and Jack. This was frustrating as I had a couple of questions I wished to raise. Maxine was not in a position to give advice but Jack was helpful. I would have felt much happier seeing the same person on each occasion as consistency is key to a good solicitor/client relationship. I had to request that a copy of my will be sent to me as the original is stored at Tozers office in Teignmouth. I felt this should have been offered automatically.
