Nick is a Partner in the Wills and Probate Team based in the firm’s North Hill office in Plymouth. Nick qualified as a solicitor in 2006 and has been specialising in Wills, Trusts, Probate and Powers of Attorney throughout his career. Nick has previously worked for several firms in Cornwall before joining Wolferstans as a Partner in 2022. Nick is a full member of both the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP) and Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE). He has also been accredited with the Older Client Care in Practice Award by Solicitors for the Elderly, indicating his expertise in supporting older and vulnerable people. Nick has experience and expertise in assisting parents with children with learning disabilities with wills and trust planning. He has participated in several presentations locally for the charity, Mencap. Changing my Will
I was slightly nervous of changing my Will as complications could occur if it wasn’t absolutely water tight. I really didn’t need to worry though. Nick Latimer and his team were absolutely first class and gave me excellent service and advice. The process was seamless from start to finish, from the first phone call to receiving the copy Will and really useful folder at completion. My Executor will find the folder invaluable when my time comes and the instructions in my Will will be absolutely clear. All the Will details were explained fully and care was taken to ensure I was happy at every stage. I will definitely use Wolferstans for any legal matter that comes up in the future.

Preparation of Wills and Power of Attorney
We found Nick Latimer well informed, courteous, and patient during the preparation of our documents. We required clarification of certain aspects on a number of occasions and each request was met with enthusiasm and sympathy. Friendly assistance when it matters
My father arranged his Will via Nick Latimir and we were delighted that he was able to assist us carry out his final affairs when he sadly passed this year. The probate process can be quite daunting when going through it for the first time and Nick's help was greatly valued by our family. Wolferstans kept us in the loop from beginning to end. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and will be using their services ourselves again in the future.

The Epitome of Professionalism
Having been expertly guided through the process of Probate, updated at every stage and advised with sensitivity, Nick Latimir and the Wolferstans Team, transformed what I had thought as an Executor, was going to be a very challenging and emotionally testing experience, into one that I fully understood and felt at ease with, enabling me to honour my deceased father in laws instructions, exactly as he had wished and bringing a sense of calming closure for my Wife.
If I ever require the need of a Solicitor in the future, based on my experience, I would not seek assistance from anywhere else.

Probate process
Nick Latimir was the perfect, empathetic professional, who was always there to guide me through the painful probate process after my spouse's death. When things were difficult with family and others, it was his confidence in a non-contentious spirit that steered the way, allowing all parties’ needs to be met, yet never compromising mine. Nick gave very careful advice during sensitive times and I am greatly relieved to say that it worked!
