Perfect wills service
Rebecca advised my elderly parents on making some changes to their wills.
She visited them at home, which was a huge help as it would have been almost impossible to travel to Forbes’ offices. Rebecca was extremely clear, easy to understand and patient, despite my mum’s hearing difficulties and built their trust through her friendly and professional manner.

Estate of M J Simpson
Rebecca has been our primary contact in dealing with the estate of my deceased mother.
The estate affairs were relatively straightforward but concluding the settlement of the estate was delayed by obtaining probate 51 weeks after death, and dilatory communications from financial institutions. Neither of these delays were caused by Rebecca and she kept us informed of her frustrations throughout the process.
When we requested a Deed of Variation towards the end of the process, she swiftly arranged for the matter to be dealt with. We were grateful for her advice and speed of action.
I would recommend her to others.

Lasting power of attorney
The team were always friendly and easy to talk to. They were very helpful, explained everything so that I understood it all. I and my attorneys were kept informed of progress. Everything was managed competently. My questions were expertly answered. I would always recommend you.

My LPA for Property & Financial Affairs and Health & Welfare
I started seeing Miss Rushworth in April/May of 2023. All information to do with preparing a Lasting Power of Attorney was new to me, but Miss Rushworth was very helpful, also her Secretary, Nicola, whenever I rang with queries, and Nicola forwarded a guide to help me. I found it very helpful to be able to see Miss Rushworth in Blackburn, rather than having to travel to Preston. I seem to recall that I was a little slow in contacting my Attorneys and completing the forms but Miss Rushworth was very patient and gave me all the information I needed. There were a few amendments, then the forms were soon sent off to the Office of the Public Guardian, who informed me of their receipt. They also informed me when they forms were Registered. Later, as soon as Miss Rushworth received the forms back from the OPG, she sent me certified copies of both LPAs.

My new Will so expertly dealt with by Rebecca Rushworth
I had occasion this month -November, to have to make a new Will, under very sad circumstances.
I met with Rebecca Rushworth & was so completely impressed with her expertise & superb efficiency.
Her thorough explanations & attention to every detail amazed me actually - & I am certainly not a person who is easily impressed - expecting high standards from people, but rarely getting them. So I was delighted to have Rebecca to do my Will. She was very reassuring about the concerns that I had & certainly relieved my worries & explained everything in great detail. She covered absolutely everything & anything that could potentially happen in the future as far as my Will was concerned. This was an immense relief to myself & I felt very well protected as a client & felt that all bases were very well covered. This was actually far more than I had expected when making a new Will & I was left with a very confident, positive feeling about it. Rebecca herself is a really lovely young lady, so empathetic & friendly & easy to converse with. Such an asset to the Company & someone I would very highly recommend. Praise where praise is due - most definitely.
