Emma Parry

Paralegal

She graduated with a History Degree from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2014, where she specialised in Women’s rights and the Victorians. She completed her dissertation on Women’s access to higher education in the Victorian period. Emma has worked in Family Law as Paralegal/Legal Assistant since July 2017 in a number of different firms across Liverpool. Emma will be the first person from the Family Team that any new family enquiry speaks to. She deals with all enquiries for the department and is solely responsible for opening the file, checking ID, obtaining funds on account or funding (Legal Aid) before the file is passed onto the relevant fee earner within the department. She also deals with billing and general assistance to help the family team to run smoothly and efficiently. Outside of work, Emma is an Assistant Beaver Scout leader. She enjoys baking, reading and spending time with her family and friends.
