Eileanora Ni-Charthaig
Solicitor - Consultant Solicitor
SRA ID: 160596
Eileanora joined our Commercial Department in October 2016. Her areas of expertise are commercial and residential property with emphasis on development work. Since 2010, she has worked exclusively in property working with developers in the main on big and not so big projects. Over the years, Eileanora has handled a varied workload from complex commercial property matters to residential matters acting for sellers, buyers, lenders, developers and liaising with all relevant third parties as required. Eileanora qualified as a solicitor in 1993 and has 25 years post qualification experience. Over the years, she has carried out a lot of private client work including wills, probate and administration and even tax planning. She trained with Eversheds between Ipswich and Norwich and started as a newly qualified solicitor with MCP Solicitors in 1993. She was made a partner there in 1998 and left in 2010 to join another West Norfolk firm of solicitors as a Partner where she worked until August 2016. Her focus is very much on the client whose interests she takes to heart. She likes to find solutions to problems and keep communication lines open and active throughout the transaction. She tries to think outside of the box and look for practical solutions where possible and ‘steer’ clients towards the best legal solutions for their problems as early as possible. She has headed a team handling very high value transactions involving development land in the Home Counties and indeed in Norfolk. Until recently Eileanora was trustee for the Purfleet Trust (a homeless charity based in King’s Lynn). She is enrolled with the Irish Law Society but she has not practiced in that jurisdiction. Until recently, she has also been an active Rotarian. In her personal time, Eileanora is also a musician having once been a professional. She now does occasional concerts and performances normally with a charity edge. Her most recent performance was at Holkham Hall to assist with a fundraising effort for the regeneration of the Old Maltings in Wells Next The Sea.

Conveyancing
Eileanora was brilliant, helped me every step of the way to purchase my new home, which I add had gone into probate so became slightly more complicated. Eileanora was very knowledgeable and helped me to understand the process in simple terms. Not the cheapest but well worth the extra!
