Starting as an Office Junior, she quickly progressed to the role of Trainee Legal Assistant within our Crime Department. Working on Crown Court cases, doing preparation work, liaising with experts and reviewing evidence. Whilst also working with new and existing clients with cases in the Magistrates Court. Sophie is working towards completing a Legal Practise Course as well as the Police Station Accreditation Scheme and then hopefully moving on to qualify as a solicitor.

Poor communication
Initial meeting with solicitor was good, however I felt that I needed to constantly chase updates and information regarding the progress of our case. There were not many times when the team conacted me with updates.
The week before and the week of the trial our solicitor was on holiday, I wasnt advised who to contact in their absence, so had to find out myself what time to arrive at court and what the process would be.

Amazing A** Service, Highly Recommended
The service was exceptional along my journey through the justice system.
My case went on for 2 years and they kept me up to date across the whole period, Sophie Burkill was fantastic coming to the trial for extra support and could not thank her enough.
Jane Cooper broke everything down in our pre trial appointments and prepared me for what was to come which helped a huge amount.
They put me in touch with the best barristers and in the end I was free of the horror.
