Jane has over 24 years’ experience in dealing with Wills, Probate and administration, tax planning and powers of attorney. Jane previously also undertook residential conveyancing and has dealt with many complex high net worth residential sales and both residential and commercial landlord and tenant matters. Jane previously had a career in management and personal and then trained as a solicitor with Watson Marshal in Hammersmith. She qualified in September 1998. Jane then remained at Watson Marshal for many years after qualifying. She joined Owen White & Catlin in October 2014 following its incorporation of Watson Marshal. Over the years Jane has acted for different generations of the same families and so has become familiar with their backgrounds and needs. Jane has dealt with high- net worth estates involving charities and individuals and complex inheritance tax calculations. Having visited many care homes in the past and acted as attorney for various clients, she is very receptive to the needs of the elderly and has a strong sense of patience and empathy. Jane is a member of the Law Society Private Client Section. In her spare time, Jane enjoys taking part in weekly park runs and recently completed her 250th. She also takes part in charity runs.
