Claim against local council about mould, damp and work that needs doing
3 years ive been waiting for the council to fix our property,2 court orders broken by the council and my solicitors did absolutely nothing to get this sorted but took HALF the award the first time (£1000) and wavered their fee the second award seeing as I wasn't getting much (650),which i thought was nice of them to start til i found out they just dont care anymore,my solicitor went home early on the day of due payment (a Friday) instead of ringing to find out where my money was, very unprofessional, they decided to go against the court order and pay it towards an offset payment instead, this wasnt part of the agreement, the council had 21 days to pay me but my solicitor left it til 3 days AFTER @ 4.41pm to tell me anything, left me in the dark all weekend for something that should of been paid on time seeing as it was a court order, feel very let down is an understatement.
The agreement was a court order that said I get paid £650 in my bank within the 21 days allowed and for all the work to be done and completed in 90 days, bare in mind we are still waiting 3 years on.
Pay date should of been 27/09/2024
