Jason is a Partner within the Family Law department, joining Parker Bullen in March 2021 to head up our Romsey office. He came into practice in 1993 having worked previously in the Court service and now deals with all aspects of family law. With an established reputation as a Family Law specialist, he has particular expertise and interest in divorce cases involving business issues, pensions, trusts and other complex issues. He is, however, also happy to assist in cases involving more modest assets. After many years of working in the field, Jason's expertise also ranges to separating cohabitees, with a niche practice of assisting in cases where a Will or Probate is to be disputed because somebody has been excluded from a Will or insufficient provision has been made for them. He has wide experience in dealing with cases involving children, including residence, contact, issues about schooling and relocation in this country or overseas. In addition to this work, Jason is a trained Mediator and a Collaborative Lawyer, believing that separating spouses should be given every opportunity to resolve matters amicably and in a non-confrontational way where possible. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives, an FMA/ADR trained Mediator and is a founder member of HFLS Solent Collaborative Group.

Down to earth, straightforward and easy
I had a really good experience with Jason Evan representing me in family court. He took me from a bad situation I had got into primarily due to poor representation before meeting him and handled the case with ease. His experience was very evident and the results spoke for themselves. He was friendly and direct and and handled the situation with my abusive ex very professionally and sensitively. I’m really grateful for all his help and would highly recommend.
