An efficient and succinct Residential Conveyancing Associate Legal Executive Ruth started her legal career at the age of 16 working as a receptionist at a small Nottingham law firm. She progressed to secretarial work and then started working on her own small case load of conveyancing files. Over 10 years ago she became an Associate Member of CILEX, the professional body for Legal Executives, Legal Practitioners, Paralegals and Apprentices and has a experience in handling all aspects of residential conveyancing. Ruth joined the Hopkins Solicitors in June 2020, and is leading our Residential Conveyancing team based out of our Kirkby-in-Ashfield office, located off Diamond Avenue in the Morrison’s car park.

Very supportive

The sale of our property was challenging as it presented problems that we could not have foreseen, however Ruth and the team at the Kirkby in Ashfield branch were very supportive throughout the process and remained courteous and patient with our many questions and were sympathetic to our frustration.

Efficient, thorough and friendly - all the qualities you look for in a conveyancer.
We recently engaged Ruth at Hopkins to handle the legal side of our house move and were extremely satisfied with the way in which the transaction was handled and the guidance we were given throughout. As is always the case, everything goes quiet for ages while the searches are carried out and then there’s the mad flurry of activity right at the end. Throughout the whole process Ruth and her colleagues kept us updated and managed our side of each transaction with calm efficiency.

Hopkins are the best solicitors we've ever used. We initially dropped off our paperwork for our house sale at the Kirkby branch and the receptionist was not only very friendly, she was very thorough in checking our paperwork and spotted where we needed to include additional information. Ruth Pilling led the conveyancing for our property and was excellent in dealing with enquiries from our buyer's solicitors, even spotting errors that the other practice had made. The communication from Kimberley Wykes by email and phone call was fantastic. I've no hesitation in recommending Hopkins in Kirkby; definitely a 5 star experience! Thank you.
