Trainee Solicitor

Amelia graduated from her LLB Law degree at the University of Plymouth in 2024, having achieved a 2:1. During her degree, Amelia worked within the Welfare Law Clinic, providing advice to individuals with disabilities and helping them with appeals relating to their social security entitlement. Throughout her time at University, Amelia took part in competitions and networking events, which ultimately led to her obtaining a training contract with Wolferstans in 2022. Amelia started her role as a Trainee Solicitor in September 2024, working within the Contentious Probate Team. She is looking forward to working on complex and varying cases during this seat alongside her supervisor Julian Burrows. During her training contract, Amelia will be enrolled in the SQE apprenticeship scheme, with hopes of qualifying as a solicitor in 2026/2027. In her free time, Amelia enjoys going to the gym, reading and spending time with her family and partner. Her favourite book is ‘All the light we cannot see’ by Anthony Doer.
