Patrick Worthington
Trainee Solicitor
Patrick Worthington joined the firm in September 2022 as a Trainee Solicitor, and has developed a keen interest in both criminal and probate law. Patrick took a less traditional route into law, first studying for a History BA and achieving a First Class Degree. He also completed a year abroad at the University of Adelaide in Australia. Following this, Patrick decided to pursue a career in law an undertook the MA in Law at the University of Sussex, achieving a Distinction in his studies. Since joining the firm, Patrick has worked primarily on criminal cases and more recently, has worked on several contested probate cases. He has also gained experience and enjoyed working on matters related to business law, contract disputes and employment law. Over the course of Patrick’s training contract, he has attended Court with counsel and our in-house advocate in criminal matters, attended conferences with Counsel in a variety of areas of law including employment law, probate and civil litigation, and attended police station interviews. Whilst Patrick has only been at the firm for a short time, he is showing a natural aptitude towards litigation matters with very good attention to detail and dedication to his work.
