A member of the Law Society of Scotland since 2003, Janine served her traineeship at a firm in Dundee and continued there until she joined the Procurator Fiscal’s office in 2008. She then worked for McEwan Fraser Legal before joining us in 2016. To keep fit and healthy Janine enjoys being put through her paces at her local outdoor Bootcamp and goes out running with friends. To relax she enjoys the latest boxset on Sky or Netflix.

I recently sold our house, & went with W & A S Bruce as they had helped us out with wills & POA's over the last two years. Despite the sale being a bit of a white-knuckle ride, thanks to the first buyer backing out, a previously interested party was contacted, & the sale was able to proceed. The purchase of our new home was completed very quickly & efficiently. Many thanks to Janine for her work & for keeping me informed throughout.

Janine was excellent from start to finish have selling our house and purchasing another we couldn’t of asked more from her as there was a lot of sorting out to do she was so professional and great communication I’d definitely use this firm again .

House sale
Janine handled the sale of our house very well. Absolutely no dramas and all queries dealt with straight away.
Arlene, her assistant was great to deal with, calm in my moments of stress.... once again, I apologise about my language Arlene lol.... calmed me down in my moment of drama.
Good enough solicitors that I recommended my daughter use them, and now handling her property purchase....

All's Well That Ends Well!
We recently sold our house & purchased our new home, having chosen W & A S Bruce, as they had helped us out recently with wills & POA's . We had the unfortunate experience of the would-be buyer of our house backing out of the sale, but,thanks to Janine & the estate agent, things were soon back on track. The sale was duly completed & our new house purchased very quickly. Many thanks to Janine for her work & for keeping me informed throughout.

Excellent (neurodivergent friendly) DEI
I spoke with Janine and explained that I was neurodivergent and they may need to be a bit patient with me. She was absolutely fantastic advised it wasn’t an issue and she would be happy to go at my speed. That was a huge relief to me and I knows then I was in good hands.

Excellent service
I used W&AS Bruce in Broxburn (Barbara and Janine) for a minute of agreement and transfer of equity/title deed. They are very knowledgeable and efficient, completely on the ball with everything and never had any issues from start to finish. Will use again for the purchase of my next property as I'm very happy with the service I received.
