What was on the surface a relatively simple case with little animosity on either side was suddenly thrown into chaos by the pandemic and national lockdown; yet things have still been steered to a satisfactory conclusion in a calm and assured manner, everything efficiently dealt with by post and e-mail. As others have stated here, Richard does a great job of taking the stress out. Would recommend for sure.

Best Family lawyers highly recommended!
I came across through this law firm chatting with a work colleague, so I contacted them and explained my situation and straight away felt very comforted they were the right people to help me. It has been difficult and my ex was difficult person, Richard and his team were fantastic in talking me through all the things I needed and always willing to listen to my concerns. They were times where I was going to pieces due to my ex but Richard and his team were there and helped and advised me on how best to handle matters they felt like family because my divorce has gone on for so long Covid 19, the death of my mother and a difficult ex. Despite all this they have managed to help me get a settlement and help secure a mortgage to buy my ex out and everything was just made seamless and hassle free. I highly recommend their services and they are family lawyers with a heart. I would definitely use them again but no intentions of ever getting married.

Excellent Family Law Firm
I used Richard Adamson Law for my own family case and I must say he was excellent throughout and very efficient in dealing in what was a very difficult time for me and this was shown through the excellent outcome he got for me. Throughout my time using Richard's firm I must say I was kept updated at every point and most of all reassured he and his firm was doing the utmost for me which gives me every reason to recommend him to anyone who is thinking of using Richard Adamson Law.

Success
Richard and the firm are very professional. My divorce, which was quite challenging and protracted was handled without a single wrong step. I was provided excellent advice and kept regularly appraised, am now happy to report that we have reached a successful conclusion.

Divorce case
Richard and his firm are really professionals and they gave me the legal support when I needed the most. After writing to several firms, Richard was the only one that gave me advice and didn't focus on the cost. He took the time to explain me the process and what we could do. And thats why I decided to hire them. If you need to talk to a lawyer but also to someone who will care Richard Adamson is your firm.

A rare breed, excellent communication and making me feel at ease with a very sensitive case.
Have recently used Richards services in a very sensitive case he has been wonderful taking care of all elements of the case and making me feel at ease whilst being great at communicating and explaining everything step by step as a deaf person that is something that is essential. I would not hesitate to Recommend Richard.

Calm and professional
I was recommended Richard by a close friend and am so pleased that they did. I have come to realise that what you need during a divorce in someone who is very calm and takes some of the stress from you. It has honestly been a pleasure to deal with Richard and his calm professional manner has allowed me to get the deal I needed even when health problems changed things mid way. Highly recommended
Richard Adamson was my solicitor when I went through an acrimonious divorce in 2003, and subsequently I had to call on his services again in 2018/9 when a further dispute arose with my ex wife. Throughout both of these events Richard conducted the proceedings with absolute professionalism, rising above the emotion to give wise council at a time of heightened emotions. He is assured, diligent and hugely experienced - managing to give both legal guidance, and personal advice. His calm confidence helped me through a number of difficult times, and I can thoroughly recommend his services.

Outstanding service, experienced knowledgeable solicitor
Richard was recommended to me by my sister-in-law. He was sensitive and thoughtful with me when covering upsetting personal history. Richard was thorough, knowledgeable and gave excellent advice. He was able to explain complex legal information to me in a way that I could understand. Richard obtained a divorce settlement for me that I had not initially thought could be achieved. The case took about 14 months and we had to go to court once. I received great service and would recommend Richard to others. I know Richard is not the cheapest solicitor but if I had gone for someone online who offered a cheap divorce I do not believe that I would have received the service or settlement that I did. Due to Richard I received enough from my divorce to buy a flat outright and have it renovated and am once again able to live independently without financial worry.
