Barclay Partner Finance (BPF) compensation claim
BPF were the finance company used by CLC, to purchase a fractional property investment, this was to include free use of CLC 5 star resorts on a points basis. This proved to be a massive wasted money pit, with annual management fees and unavailability to get a resort we wanted to stay at. We felt we were miss sold this as an investment and after seeking advice from Sarah Waddington Solicitors we decided to make a claim for compensation on a no win, no fee basis against BPF. This was in Dec 23 and through SWS, Sarah Honeybul’s and Carol Marchant’s hard work, the Financial Ombudsman Service found in our favour and a full repayment of all past monthly loan payments paid, plus final settlement, all past management fees and 8% interest as now been repaid back as compensation. We cannot thank Sarah Waddington Solicitors enough for their successful efforts in winning this claim.
We cannot recommend them enough.

Excellent Service
After years of fighting on our behalf we have been awarded compensation from one financial institute after Sarah and her team worked with the Ombudsman following other avenues closing down. Our Fractional Ownership has been cancelled but our membership with CLC has been reinstated. Sarah and her team have assured us that they will continue to act on our behalf (at no extra cost as covered through previous payments) to rid us of the membership completely. Be prepared this is a long and arduous process. Over 5 years in total. Be patient and trust in the team.

Diamond resort’s and Barclays Partner Finance settlement
After many years of grinding down the Ombudsman, Sarah and the team finally got a settlement figure from BPF.
This we accepted thankfully, but we still have a long way to go waiting on 3 other settlements with Shawbrook.
The service provided has been very professional and we have been kept up to date, albeit very slow due to tardiness of the Ombudsman.
We hope that Shawbrook can just get their act together to finish off our case completely.
Another plus is that Sarah Waddington, the owner, was more than happy to talk to us and assure us of what was happening was the right way.
If you have not made a claim against Diamond resorts, for mis selling, I suggest you contact Sarah Waddington Solicitors now and hopefully it won’t take as long as it has for us, now that all of the legwork has been done.
Beware of other companies claiming that they can settle for you more quickly and making claims that other Solicitors don’t know what they are doing.

Successful conclusio of 2 refunds from the banks funding our CLC claim
A long road, but with Sarah Waddingtons teams advice and support, we finally got refunds from the 2 banks who funded our mis sold CLC fractional membership.
The team were always helpful and their direction and advice was invaluable.

Success at long last
It seems like a life time ago that my wife and I began our Journey with Sarah Waddington Solicitors. On many occasions over the years I was warned that they were not what they claimed to be. I persisted, as did they, and now we have finally started to receive compensation for timeshare we were miss-sold. I can only say thank goodness for my trust and their hard work. Very happy that we chose Sarah Waddingtons
Although it has taken a long time to reach a conclusion, Sarah Waddington Solicitors have been friendly and professional throughout. They have acted on our behalf to get us out of our timeshare contract and obtain substantial financial recompense. They have been diligent and tenacious in battle against the timeshare company and the banks. With all the questionable and unregulated companies that are hounding us on the phone every day it is really nice to know that we chose the right company to represent us. They have always kept us updated, even when there wasn't much to tell. I always felt that they 'had our back'.

Faith Restored
Having engaged in purchasing timeshare back in the early 2000s, without a full understanding of what was involved and what we were getting into, the experience left a bitter taste in our mouths, the slick sales method, impressive offices and hollow promises led us into a downward spiral of worry and embarrassment. After many attempts of trying to withdraw from the contract, we only found ourselves getting pulled in deeper, all adding to the continual worry and strain put on our health and financial ability.
Eventually, I need to give Diane my wife credit for doing the right thing, by searching out two companies of solicitors who were registered to deal with timeshare mis-selling, this was no small feat, considering the number of companies claiming to advise and recover monies on your behalf.
It was an easy choice to select Sarah Waddington Solicitors, they delivered exactly what it said on the tin, for a small fee, only paid when an official contract was agreed upon, explaining what and what was not possible we signed up, from that day forth it has been nothing but a positive journey of refund and recovery both on a financial and health basis. It is not a sprint but stick with it and you may reap the rewards deserved.
I have nothing but praise for the company and the solicitors I have dealt with over the last few years, thank you!
