Choosing a solicitor is a daunting task. As with any profession, there are the good and the bad, and having letters after you name or a fancy office doesn’t change that.
I called and spoke to a few practices before engaging with Abby Smith at Woolley & Co, because I wanted to get a feel for the person who would ultimately be steering me through the legal mine field that was divorce and financial settlement and I wanted that person to share my values and fully understand the situation I was unfortunately in.
Abby was excellent. I wanted to be fully involved and Abby welcomed this approach and we had many email and phone conversations to agree on certain issues and aspects that lead to an eventual and satisfactory conclusion to the whole affair.
I was pleased to have Abby and her level headed approach on my side and her calm and thoughtful nature is what I wanted to complement my wish for a peaceful, respectful, but most of all, fair agreement for my ex, myself and our children.

Divorce
I was trying to do my own divorce when I was unable to trace my wife after using tracing agencies. I decided to use wolley and Co. and I'm glad I did. My personal solicitor was very professional and communication was excellent. They managed to find her and got the divorce sorted. I would highly recommend this company.

highly recommended divorce lawyer
Highly recommend Abby Smith for sensitive but straightforward advice on seeking divorce. She made the process transparent and easy to navigate, taking away a lot of the drama and difficulty that I'd anticipated. Friendly, professional and quick to respond on questions - everything I needed to feel she's on my side.

Abby was very professional, was always available for advise and support and made a very difficult situation much easier to deal with. Very happy with the outcome of my case.

Really good quality, cannot recommend Abby Smith more, listened, compassionate, wasn't looking for £2000 on account before she gave you some supportive and general advice. (That you could google) Definitely recommend

Very professional
Abby Smith worked with us for almost a year and we consider ourselves very fortunate to have had that support in such a difficult time.
