i am very dissatisfied with the service i have received
not only were costs greatly inflated with no valid reason i felt intimidated by the solicitor who did not really help me feel at ease
in fact she made things much worse and made me feel worse
i have also learned she is also not an expert in contract dispute i learned at a later date
i originally signed up to a basic fee of £1500 which over night escalated to £5000+
apparently due to my claim being urgent - it was not urgent in fact to date i have still not heard from court
there was nothing pressingly urgent about it in my opinion
the solicitor repeatedly seemed to be on the side of the other party and dd not make me feel supported at all im afraid
i feel i was given inaccurate advise and have since instructed another legal person who has advised to keep the original defendent on the court order and let the judge decide
i did not feel listened to merely judged as at the time it naturally made me ill
she wrote x 2 letter to the defendents of which to date i have not received the final copy only the draft version with amendments to be done ?

Property boundary dispute
We had a dispute with a neighbour re the boundary line.
Charlotte gave great advice, support and key recommendations on how to progress the matter concerned. We followed her advice and it is all now resolved amicably. She provided such excellent service, listened to our situation and provided such great clarity for next steps. In addition her knowledge of the intricacies of property law were clearly evident.

Excellent, professional service
We had a sale of shares which were unforeseen and seemed daunting initially. We searched around and gave a call to FBC Manby Bowdler LLP and this was a phone call we could not be happier that we made. Initially Ann took our details and directed us to the wonderful Charlotte. Charlotte maintained a brilliant, professional outlook and despite us feeling erratic at times she kept us grounded and offered great advice whilst being friendly and firm in conversation which was very much what was required. Once Valuations were agreed we worked alongside Tracy and Jaspreet. Jaspreet in particular was heavily involved and offered an impressive appetite to resolve our issues at the earliest convenience which was appreciated by all. We were offered what we believed to be the best options which suited us and not what would make a solicitor the most money, this gave us a huge trust in all the advice and subsequent decisions made.

Charlotte went above and beyond to rectify the litigation issue on my behalf, checking all avenues to pursue and explained everything well throughout the process. Having received a number of penalty motoring notices for my number plated Peugeot in an area I had never driven, it was obvious someone had cloned my plate. I had never been in that position before and I had been at a loss at how to handle it. Whilst I have over many years used a number of solicitors with your company and never been disappointed this is the first occasion that we have used Charlotte Clode for a very serious H & S accident at on of our group companies.
