Voluntary interview support
My son (aged 23) had been accused of an offence that was clearly a ridiculous allegation with no foundations to support it. However, he had to attend a voluntary interview and we met Robert Cashman from Tuckers Solicitors. Robert explained the whole procedure and provided professional advice in a calm and clear manner that enabled my son to feel confident he was supported during the interview. The result was no action by the police and the case has been closed. Thank you for your support.

Great support and advice given in a compassionate way

Duty solicitor was knowledgeable, patient and gave good advice
I was arrested on suspicion of a very serious offence but later unconditionally released (without charge of caution). It was critical for me to have timely advice and be able to read the relevant law and guidelines on screen. I also wanted to type my own statement in advance of interview, which I was grateful to be able to do. The laptop provided wasn’t great; the lawyer was worried about low battery! I was in custody for over 12 hours before I got to see my lawyer. Not sure why this took so long. Rob Cashman was very knowledgeable, patient and thorough.
