Associate Solicitor

Esme studied her Bachelor of Law as a mature student through The Open University and went on to achieve her Master of Law at Nottingham Trent University. Following this she joined the Ringrose Law as a Paralegal in the Children Law team in June 2019. She obtained her Training Contract in February 2021 and qualified as a solicitor in August 2022 and became an Associate Solicitor in May 2023. Esme has also completed her Resolution Accreditation with specialisms in both Domestic Abuse and Private Children Proceedings, which is a highly regarded qualification. Esme has experience in both private and public law children matters including complex matters involving domestic abuse and child abuse allegations. She regularly undertakes her own advocacy. Esme has successfully obtained special guardianship orders for client's who have previously had negative assessments. She has successfully obtained permission for client's to relocate with a child outside the UK. She regularly represents victims of domestic abuse in both obtaining injunctions and within children matters. Esme has worked in a voluntary capacity within Domestic Abuse Support for many years, and this is something she is passionate about. She is a Domestic Abuse Champion for LDASS. She has transferred the skills she has learnt in supporting victims of domestic abuse into her legal career.
